Lisa Johnson - Lead Instructor & Choreographer
Megan Argenbright
Megan is from Waynesboro, Virginia and has been clogging for thirteen years with the Mountain Heritage Cloggers. She began teaching private lessons at age ten and has expanded to group instruction within the last four years. Megan’s passion for hip-hop is evident in the routines she choreographs. She has also assisted Lisa Johnson and Dorothy Stephenson with choreography for the Mountain Heritage Cloggers and Rhythmic Alliance. In November of 2008, Megan became a certified clog teacher for all ability levels.
Holly Thornton
Holly Thornton is proud to call the Shenandoah Valley her home, for this is where she was born and raised. Her love for rhythm and creativity introduced her to clogging as a child for a short time but then got her back into it in 2006. From there she was forever hooked as a clogger! She has taught MHC’s adult clogging class, private lessons, and currently teaches our Intermediate I class along with being a back-up for the other instructors, as needed. Holly also serves as the group’s treasurer and assists with many of the behind-the-scenes functions of the group. When Holly isn’t clogging, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Holly works full time outside of clogging, is pursuing her Bachelors degree at James Madison University, and is a hairdresser and face painter part-time. She loves teaching clogging and hopes to continue for many years to come!
